We have designed our practice so that we can help almost anyone, regardless of age or amount of assets. We believe that everyone should have a financial plan. Here’s an overview of what to expect as you come aboard:
First meeting – New Client Onboarding Meeting
Please gather any account statements you want us to review, and allow us to pick them up from you before the meeting. Or, if you prefer, we can send you a secure link to electronically submit them to us.
At this meeting, we will introduce our firm’s philosophy, services, and process.
We will introduce you to Riskalyze™ and begin a conversation about your risk tolerance and asset allocation needs.
If you are ready to proceed, we will gather some basic data from you and get ready to bring you on-board!
Next step – Open new accounts process
After our initial meeting, we will send you new account applications and client agreements via secure email. You’ll simply have to digitally sign, and that’s it!
Once completed, your new account application is instantly on its way to TD Ameritrade – fast and secure! All documents will be held in your electronic client file for easy retrieval.
We will also email an electronic questionnaire to you. You can complete the questionnaire at a time and place that is convenient for you. Once complete, you can securely send it back to us…we’ll show you how. Then, we will begin to get ready for your second meeting.
Second meeting – New Client Follow-Up Meeting
We will dive deeper into your financial situation so that we can begin your financial plan.
We will review a new investment strategy that we have customized for you. If you are ready, we will begin to invest your money in your new portfolios.
We’ll give you a preview of our website and introduce you to the client portal!
Third meeting – New Client Wrap-Up Meeting
About one month after our second meeting, we will meet again to review the financial plan we have created for you and your investments. Going forward, you will be able to see your financial plan anytime you want via our client portal.
We will have our first review of your new investment portfolios.
We will show you how to send us secure documents via the client portal. Your documents will be safely stored in our “virtual vault”.
